From your LinkedIn profile

Open the side panel on your profile and scroll. Every section lands in the builder, dates and all, the way the profile above becomes a resume. How the LinkedIn resume builder works

From a resume you already have

Upload a PDF or Word file and AI splits it into sections you can edit, or start from a blank page. Upload your resume

Match it to the job description, then tailor it

Save a posting from LinkedIn or paste one from anywhere. AI scores your resume against it and shows what’s missing. Tailor rewrites your bullets in the job’s words and drafts new lines for what’s missing. You keep or skip each one.

How to tailor your resume to a job description

AI, on Plus and Pro

Enhance your LinkedIn with your resume

Presr compares your resume with your profile and lists what’s different. AI rewrites each one the way LinkedIn reads best: longer, and in the first person. Copy it, Presr opens the right edit form, and you paste.

  • Presr never types or posts on LinkedIn
  • Runs only on your own profile

LinkedIn profile optimization, from your resume

  • 11 templates

Change the whole look in one click. Your words stay as they are. See them ↓

  • Design it your way

Color, typeface, spacing and one or two columns, in a live preview that is the export.

  • An editor with AI

Edit, reorder or hide any section. On Plus and Pro, AI offers up to three better ways to say any line.

  • ATS check, free

Checks as you type that hiring software can read your resume. On every plan.

11 templates, infinite customizations

Every sheet below is the same profile, exported. Open one to see it full size, in any color.

  • Classic Times New Roman · single column

Ruled small-caps headings over the plainest possible structure. The format every parser has already seen a million times.

  • Modern Calibri · single column

Your name on the left and your contact details on the right, rule-free headings in navy and tighter leading than Classic. Experience leads the page, education follows it.

  • Technical Calibri · skills first

Your name on the left, contact on the right, and a skills block above the fold, four per line, under shaded category headings. Built for a stack that has to be legible in six seconds.

  • Compact Times New Roman · high density

Classic one step tighter: smaller type, tighter leading, narrower margins. For fifteen years of tenure that has to finish on one page.

  • Executive Garamond · single column

Title-case headings and wide margins in an old-style serif. The summary and the tenure column lead; nothing competes with them.

  • Academic Times New Roman · CV proportions

One-inch margins, education above experience, coursework and honors switched on by default. A CV rather than a resume.

  • Atlas Georgia · banded headings

Shaded heading bands down one column in a screen-legible serif. Structure you can find without reading a word of it.

  • Minimal Calibri · single column

Soft grays, wide margins, one left edge for everything, and a hierarchy carried entirely by weight. No rules, no bands, nothing on the page that is not a word.

  • Sidebar Calibri · two column

Skills, certifications and contact details in a left rail; experience runs at full width beside it. The densest layout here that still parses.

  • Ledger Georgia · two column

Career down the left, a ruled rail of skills and credentials down the right, serif throughout. Reads like a printed page rather than a form.

  • Studio Arial · two column

A warm editorial palette over a structured two-column flow. The one here that is willing to look like it was designed on purpose.

Color is a separate control from layout, so every template above takes any of the eight accents or a hex of your own. Open one and try it. Picking a template starts you on its own color.

Your account, your data

Three things Presr will never do. The rest is in the FAQ and the privacy policy.

  • It never acts on LinkedIn for you

No scrolling, typing or submitting, and no background requests. It reads what your browser already shows because you scrolled to it, and clicks only when you ask: to open your own contact card, or a job posting’s full description.

  • Your resumes stay in your browser

Resumes, folders and saved jobs live in your browser’s storage, not on our servers. No ads, no tracking, no analytics service.

  • AI only runs when you click it

It sends only what that feature needs: the text it’s working on, with your headline and job titles for context, or, to check a job match, your resume with its email, phone, links and name taken out. We keep none of it, and Google doesn’t train on it.

Importing a resume file is the one feature that sends a whole resume, contact details included: its text, when you pick the file. Every data flow is in the privacy policy →

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before installing:

Do I need the Chrome extension?

For building from your LinkedIn profile and for improving your profile, yes: both happen beside LinkedIn, in Chrome’s side panel. Building from a resume you already have, or from a blank page, happens right here on this site, with nothing to install. With the extension, your resumes and saved jobs are kept in it and open here to edit.

Can Presr build a resume from my LinkedIn profile?

Yes. Open your profile in Chrome, open Presr in the side panel and scroll: each section, from experience and education to skills, projects and certifications, lands in the builder as an editable resume. Pick one of 11 templates and download it as a PDF or Word file. Your own profile works on every plan, free.

Can Presr tailor my resume to a job description?

Yes, on Plus and Pro. Save a posting from LinkedIn or paste one from anywhere, and AI checks your resume against it: a score, the line that covers each requirement, and the skills it names that your resume leaves out. Tailoring then rewrites your bullets in the job’s words; you keep or skip each change, and nothing changes until you press Apply.

Will using this get my LinkedIn account restricted?

Presr does not automate the page. It never scrolls, types or submits anything for you, and it makes no background requests to LinkedIn. It reads the sections your own browser has already drawn because you scrolled to them, and it clicks only when you ask it to: to open the contact card on your own profile, or to expand a job posting's full description. We can't speak for LinkedIn, though: it sets its own rules for browser add-ons and decides how to enforce them, so no tool can promise an account won't be restricted.

Does my resume get uploaded anywhere?

Your resumes are stored in your browser, under your Chrome profile, and never on our servers. Text leaves your browser in two cases only: when you use an AI feature, which sends only what it needs: the text it’s working on plus your headline, job titles and employers, or for a job match your resume’s text with its email, phone, links and name taken out; and when you import a resume file, which sends that file’s text so it can be split into sections. Our server passes it to Google’s Gemini and keeps none of it.

How long does Presr keep what it reads from a profile?

A scan lives in your browser until you close it. A finished one is kept for 24 hours so restarting Chrome doesn’t lose it, then it’s deleted. It seeds a resume once and never overwrites edits you’ve made since.

What can the extension see in my browser?

Only linkedin.com. That is the one site it asks Chrome for access to, and every other tab you have open is invisible to it.

Can Presr change someone else’s profile, or compare against one?

Enhance only runs on your own profile. Before comparing a resume with a profile, Presr looks for the edit controls LinkedIn shows only to the owner, and if it can’t find them it refuses to run. It never edits LinkedIn itself either way; you copy each change across.

What file formats can I export?

PDF for job portals that want a fixed layout, Word (.docx) when a recruiter asks for something editable, and a .presr file, which is a complete backup of a resume you can import again later.

What structural checks does the ATS scanner run?

It checks structure, not content: single-column layout, sections that aren’t built from tables, headings a parser recognizes, contact details in the body rather than a page header, and dates paired with titles. They re-run as you edit.

What does the “Enhance” feature do?

It reads your LinkedIn profile again, compares it with the resume you’ve been sharpening, and lists what differs. Each item gives you the text to copy and a link to the exact LinkedIn edit form. Presr never types into LinkedIn for you.

Can I use Presr without any AI features?

Yes. The free plan’s only AI is reading the first resume you import, and capture, the builder, every template, the ATS check, a keyword match score against any job and your one download all work without it. The full AI check of a resume against a job posting comes with Plus and Pro.

How much does it cost?

The free plan has every template, as many resumes as you like and one download, PDF or Word, and needs no account or card. Plus is $14.99 a month, $6.99 a week or $34.99 for three months, with unlimited downloads and AI; Pro is $49 a month for people writing resumes for others. You can cancel either one from “Manage billing” on the extension’s account page.

Do I need an account?

Not to start. Google sign-in comes up the first time you use an AI feature or upgrade. Our server uses your Google account ID only to count requests and know your plan.

Which browsers are supported?

Google Chrome 116 or newer on desktop, and Chromium-based browsers like Microsoft Edge, Brave, Arc and Opera.

Your next application is going to ask for a PDF

You already wrote most of it, on LinkedIn or in an old resume. Presr turns it into one that fits the job.
